British Columbia Ministry of Education Graduation Requirements
The British Columbia Graduation Requirements are as follows:
  • 80 credits from grades 10, 11 and 12. Each course, which must meet for approximately 120 hours, is worth 4 credits.
    • 16 credits from Grade 12 with English mandatory
    • At least 28 credits from electives
    • 52 credits required as follows:
      • 8 Career course credits from 10, 11 or 12
      • 4 credits from PE 10
      • 4 credits from Science 10
      • 4 credits from Math 10
      • 4 credits from Socials 10
      • 4 credits from Science 11 or 12
      • 4 credits from Socials 11 or 12
      • 4 credits from Math 11 or 12
      • 12 credits from English / Language Arts 10, 11, 12
      • 4 credits from Arts or Design and Technology 10, 11, 12
