St. John’s Academy counselling support service is given by a team of advisors from Student Service Department who are well-experienced in student academic and career planning. Student Services Department can give good counselling support for students of any background for course planning, university selection, and campus life. The advisors are well-connected to local help centers and can refer students to professional services if it is determined to be necessary.
The current Head of Student Services Department, Mr. Schei is also a teacher who assists St. John’s Academy’s principal. His primary focus is to ensure that every student leaves his office with a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction after a counselling session. Mr. Schei is responsible for Extra University Application Service (EUAS) program, which helps International or Domestic students to apply for Universities and Post Secondary Institutions.
The current registrar and resident advisor, Ms. Korman has been advising students for as long as she has been a part of St. John’s Academy. Her solid knowledge on both secondary and post-secondary education in Canada make her valuable asset to students. Ms. Korman’s advices not only help a new student get established in St. John’s Academy, but also foster a spirit of continued-improvement through setting of attainable-goals.
