SCHOOL LIBRARY

Welcome to the St. John’s Academy Shawnigan Lake Library Learning Commons online space. Our physical library space is a bright, open room with a print collection of more than 4000 books and periodicals that is open to students to access in-person during the school day. Our library is a natural gathering place for student groups and organizations, faculty meetings and evening study hall for boarding students.

The Heritage Minutes collection is a bilingual series of history-focused public service announcements. Each 60-second short film depicts a significant person, event or story in Canadian history. They have become a recognizable part of Canadian culture.
