St. John’s Academy Shawnigan Lake truly values our faculty and staff. Our professional, experienced, and talented individuals aim to create meaningful learning opportunities for young people throughout our entire program. Given our pristine location situated between the shores of Shawnigan Lake and the base of Mt. Baldy we have a strong commitment to outdoor learning. Our learning also takes place within the framework of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP). We are one of a few select schools accredited to IB for Middle Years. This programme is further complemented by our social-emotional learning that takes place as part of our Positive Discipline approach to teaching self-awareness, resiliency, and responsibility.
